The Fireray® 5000 is a motorised reflective, auto-aligning infrared optical beam smoke detector with a ground-level controller. It can be installed with up to two detector heads per system so it will save the installation time and cost.
In addition, each system controller houses two pairs of fire and fault relays as one per detector. This innovative system is designed to form the ground up to include pioneering technology that fully addressed the needs of the user.
Fireray 5000 is installed as shown below with its reflector. Auto aligning feature of the detector allows easy reflection from the reflector and easy to detect the smoke between its area.
As the controller is installed at ground level it will be easy to change the parameters of the smoke detector even if it is mounted at a certain height. Or it is also possible to test the detectors easily from the ground within a specified time interval to check the working condition.
The Fireray® 5000 combines an infrared transmitter and receiver in the same discrete unit and operates by projecting a well-defined beam to a reflective prism, which returns the beam to the receiver for further analysis.
The display of the controller is shown below. The user can set or change the parameters.
